Jesse Irons, violin, received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Baltimore’s Peabody Conservatory, serving as graduate assistant in chamber music. His teachers included Pamela Frank and Nicholas Kitchen. He is a member of A Far Cry, a self-conducted string orchestra and has appeared in concert across the United States, as well as in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Singapore. Jesse enjoys exploring music outside the classical mainstream and has performed with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble as well as the avant-garde improvising Ligeti String Quartet Project. On the Baroque violin, Jesse appears frequently with Musicians of the Old Post Road and the Handel and Haydn Society and has studied with Phoebe Carrai and Manfredo Kraemer.
